Roosje Klap participates in a panel discussion about the speculative future of print during the finissage of the exhibition 'Cmd P for 2079'.
AGA LAB, maker space for artists, exists 60 years and we’re celebrating this with an exhibition in the Allard Pierson: Cmd P for 2079, a futuristic journey through the world of print. It is about print in the year 2079. The international artists in the exhibition have created storylines around the role of print, speculating 60 years ahead. Artists: ooooo, Karin Ferrari (1982, IT / AT), Emre Hüner (1978, TR / NL), Åbäke (2000, UK).
Sunday the 19th of January is the finissage of the exhibition. In a conversation that is led by Sacha Bronwasser, Roosje Klap and Marco Zwaan will continue the discussion about the meaning of print in 2079, in perspective of, for example, the unstoppable digitization of society and the progressive monopolization of digital communication.
